Wise words for the weekend

Photo Time

This weekend there are lots of exciting celebrations. From a friends birthday dinner, to hanging out with my gorgeous nephews, to welcoming back a friend from New York, to celebrating the much hyped AFL grand final to helping an old friend partake in her last few weeks as a single lady with her Hen's celebration, there is always a reason to have the camera out and capture each wonderful memory.

Soon, I am going to sit and print out all the photos I love.

So many memories with so many fabulous friends.

Organised

Everytime I walk into Kikki K I dream of being organised and having everything brilliantly filed. To be one of those people who after receiving mail, just files it.

It never happens though. Papers pile up, are then put into a draw and then they become so overwhelming I shudder at the thought of them.

I would love to change this about me and make life all that much easier.

Apparently there are courses on it!

Look out.

Passport memories

Last week in preparation for Hawaii I had to get a new passport.

It has been 10 years since the last (when I was in year 12) and it was time to get it done.

During my passport interview the woman said to me 'wow, you have travelled alot. How many countries have you been to?' and it made me think.

I am so lucky that I have travelled the world and been to every place so far I have wanted to go. From South America to Cuba to Europe to Morocco to Asia, I have done it. I have seen some amazing things and will never, ever forget my travelling memories.

The count of countries I have been to, I have no idea. But that is why my old passport is the diary of my 20s. It tells me everywhere I have been and all that I have learnt.

Now a new passport will never have the pages filled like the old one, but it is time for some new travel memories.

Wise words for the weekend

Great advice.

Gorgeous princess

Sometimes you find magazine covers and shoots that are just gorgeous. Charlotte Casiraghi, is not just stunning but is the grand daughter of Grace Kelly and is fourth in line to the throne of Monaco. She has also been named on the International Best Dressed list.

Not bad at all.

West Coast Eagles

There are a few things I really love and adore and one of those is the amazing West Coast Eagles. The West Coast Eagles are the best. Since I can remember I have been watching the beautiful boys don their yellow and blue and run out to play AFL. This weekend they are fighting it out to make the grand final and I couldn't be more nervous.

I think my biggest attraction to the Eagles is not only that they are great (and generally quite good looking) but they have a certain glow around them because they are from Perth. Dad's homeland. The holy grail of hot surfers, relaxed lifestyle, stunning beaches and the fact they are so far away, I will most likely never meet them.

Hmmmm perhaps I should move interstate.

Good luck this weekend boys.

Aloha

I have been listening to my all time favourite Jack Johnson in the car as I know in a month I will be switching the dreaded traffic filled freeways for the white sandy beaches of Hawaii. ALOHA!!

I absolutely can't wait.

Shopping, beach time and chilling out.

I haven't picked up my book for months and soon I am going to be able to read and rest and do all the things I love.

Look out Jack Johnson. I might even have to find you for a live concert.
