Outlet

When I first started writing on Viskavilla, my inspiration came from the incredible Lou from Lou, Bou and Shoes blog (a must read www.louboosandshoes.com) who shares her day to day life and how she feels about it. She's not saving the world but I think in today's tech world she is refreshingly honest.

I feel like I only really write on this blog when I need an outlet. When I need to voice how I feel and always seem to turn back to Lou for inspiration on this.

I am in that in between stage of life where I just don't know how the next coin will be flipped. It is sort of an uneasy feeling as normally I have a plan and am always one to preach for people to 'take control of their destiny.'

So at the moment inspirational words like these are making it all better...

Home dreaming

Since coming home from our wedding it is amazing how quickly you change your thoughts from dresses and bouquets to setting up home.

At the moment we are in between houses so of course I am always thinking about our dream home.

It's amazing how fabulous my (our! Haha) dream home is!

As I get older I realise the more simple the house, the more gorgeous.

So I guess now it is all about making it happen.

Working hard and chasing our dreams.

Cold

Brrrrr.

Winter has well and truly hit and it is amazing how the cool temperature can effect your motivation.

The alarm keeps going off and all I can dream of is staying in bed and being cosy.

Exercise has run out the door (pardon the pun!!) and I am craving reading books around the fire and doing not much at all.

Future Self

Ahhh I love this...

Back

People always say that planning a wedding takes time. I always thought that they were overreacting. Until I recently planned a destination wedding and I completely get it now. Time, or any spare time is always designated to planning. There is always something.

So now, with the wedding all over, it is back to it. Back to real life with the most incredible memories of a lifetime.

I am in that weird stage of going from manic to slowly getting back to real life. Work is always busy, but with winter arriving, weekend antics (and friend's weddings) are slowing down so it will be back to normal life (and a fabulous new husband!).

The perfect time to go back to finding out what in life I love.
