What more could you want from a house? The perfect indoor/outdoor space. Over the Easter break I spent time relaxing down at the beach, dreaming about what I would do with my dream holiday house. This could be a good addition.
Last night one of my gorgeous friends took me out for French food... snails, steak, cheese, the perfect meal! It really made me think about my incredible trips to France and how much I love anything French. They just do everything with such style....
I am addicted. I have a full blown addiction to anything Missoni. You name it. Bath towels, check. Hand towels, check. Beach towels, check. Bikini's, check. The list could go on and on but for an expensive habit, I can now breathe a sigh of relief as Haviana has saved the day and made my bank manager very happy. Welcome please, the amazing collaboration between Haviana and Missoni. Now I just have to get my hands on a pair...
I remember reading an article a few months ago about 'what is your porn?' Women wrote in with answers just like mine. Fresh sheets, a good magazine, a great sunset. One thing I forgot on my list was 'beach houses'. This is my love and obsession. I could make a full time job of dreaming about my dream beach house. So, over the years I have found celebrities in magazines that are living out my dream. India Hicks is one of them. Look at how STUNNING her house is in the Carribean.... ahhh I could dream all day.
I have decided that the only way to get through the winter months is to plan a holiday. My mum is having her 60th in October and has decided to have it away. Her first plan was the Greek Islands but we are all thinking somewhere in Australia could be better for weather and travel time.
I just found this beautiful beach house to rent in Palm Beach. ahh could definitely drink a glass of wine on that balcony...
Today is the second last day of Summer. I don't know if I am in shock or feel that I really want one last week of beach time filled with a fabulous book, endless hours spent swimming and a bout of beach hair.
I am so lucky to live close to the beach with a warm climate but the thought that Autumn is about to start is slightly depressing.... it could also be that we have had the coldest and wettest Summers on record. Bring on an Indian Summer... please!
