Tired

This week I am exhausted.

Not just physically but meantally too. I think the amazing rush of summer holidays, weekends at the beach, lots of fabulous friends getting engaged and celebrations to be had has meant I haven't stopped to rest.

I am dreaming about sleeping in, reading my book and quiet time.

Happy Australia Day

Tomorrow is Australia Day.

One of the best celebrations I think we have as a public holiday.

It wasn't until I arrived back from a stint living in the UK that I truly realised how lucky we really are.

Australia is the greatest country in the world and I can't wait to celebrate how 'bloody' great it is.

We are celebrating with a tennis tournament and bbq, enjoying the sunshine.

Thanks Australia. Never change

Jack Johnson

I love Jack. He is one of the greats.

We had a chat over summer whilst sitting on the beach, which celebrities life we would want.

We all answered Jack Johnson.

He has followed his dream. Lived a life around the things that he loves; surfing and music. Every song he sings I love. Every time I see him live, I love him even more.

And, he gets to live his dream on the beach in Hawaii. Aloha to that Jack.

Yep, I am obsessed.
Once again at this time of year (well actually all year) my thoughts turn to my dream beach house.

I work everyday for this. One day I am going to sit back and relax with a great book in my cosy beach shack and think about the days that I used to dream....

Entertaining

Since we have moved from a house to an apartment I really miss entertaining. Having afternoon drinks in the garden and dinner parties. Always so much fun. I love being the host, I just don't like the cooking part!

New Years Changes

I don't know if I believe in resolutions but more the new year as being a start of changes. Not big ones but little things you want to get on top of.

For me I want to cook more, be organised and enjoy more of the things I love. Yoga, beach time and friend catch ups. I also want to visit the big city, New York!

Ahhh 2012, lets go.

Back to work

I can't believe it.

Two blissful weeks of holiday happiness are over and its back to the daily grind of work.

These are the days that I would love to work by the seaside in my imaginary beach shack.
