With the new job starting, I have been so manic I don't know where to start and when to stop. I do however still find inspiration in a few of my favourite things....

New Job

I have resigned and am starting a new job soon.

 It is quite surreal saying this as I love my current job but the new opportunity sort of hit me when I wasn't expecting it and I am now very excited about the new adventure.

It is weird the way that can happen. It is like a sign that tells you that are sailing along but sometimes you need to rock your boat.

My new job is exciting and going to be a huge challenge - which I think I am up for.

I am moving from the wonderful world of cosmetics to fabulous fashion, which I have always wanted to do.

So - here is to packing up one stage of my life (and my office) to moving into the next.

Scary but exciting all the same.

Winter

Today is the first day of winter and my gorgeous boys birthday. What a time to celebrate!

It is amazing how quickly the seasons change and before you know it you are wearing tights and jackets everyday without realising. It is that time of year when things get cozy and you want to cancel all plans and snuggle up.

Saying that though our winters are still very balmy. Today the weather will be 17 degrees! Boiling.

Tonight we are off to celebrate the gorgeous boys last birthday in his 20's at great friends engagement party. What a way to celebrate the first day of winter with lots of drink with wonderful friends.
